Brigham Young men's coach Ed Eyestone discusses his team's 81-83 victory over Colorado in the 8-kilometer blue race at the NCAA Division 1 Pre-Nationals at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, Ind. It marked the third year in a row BYU won at Pre-Nationals, including a white race last year at Wisconsin and a red race in 2017 in Louisville. Eyestone reflects on the progress of his lineup from a 54-60 loss to Oregon on Sept. 28 at the Bill Dellinger Invitational, as well as the impressive first half of the season of sophomore Conner Mantz, who won his third consecutive race this year.
